Who We Are
Cali Calendar ("we", "us") operates calicalendar.org, a platform for discovering and posting calisthenics events. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@calicalendar.org.
Information We Collect
- Account information — your email address and password when you create an account (passwords are handled by AWS Cognito; we never see them).
- Profile information — names, display names, bios, city/country, Instagram handles, websites, and any photos you choose to upload.
- Event content — event details and images submitted by organizers, which are public by design once approved.
- Activity — events you save, so we can show them on your profile.
How We Use It
- To operate the platform — accounts, profiles, event listings, and saved events.
- To email organizers about the status of their submitted events.
- To moderate content submitted for review.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Where Your Data Lives
Data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States — authentication with Amazon Cognito, application data in Amazon DynamoDB, images in Amazon S3, and email via Amazon SES. AWS acts as our processor; we don't share your data with other third parties except as required by law.
What's Public
Approved events, organizer profiles (name, bio, images, contact links), and athlete display names are visible to anyone. Your email address is never shown publicly unless you add it to your organizer profile as a contact method.
Your Choices
- Edit your profile information at any time from your profile page.
- Delete your account from your profile page — this removes your profile and saved events. Organizers can choose whether their published events are removed as well.
- Email us at hello@calicalendar.org for any other data request.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page.
